Another seven. All Walnut ink and ink wash on watercolour paper. 3 copies of Old Master drawing and painting. With a couple of Halloween inspired drawings.
Two quick 50 x 50 today. I like to call the first one Saint Theresa in ecstasy.
Followed by Bernini's Ecstasy of St. Theresa.

After a great visit to the open Studio at 1890 Bryant I came home and wanted to a spend a day just drawing: Finishing a few more of my 50 x 50's and getting out with my sketch book. Both of which I did. For the 50 x 50's I worked in sepia ink with sepia washes while sitting outside under an umbrella on my patio. All the while blasting my neighbours with old rock and new rock. The pencil sketches I did in Lafayette park. A good place to figure sketch on a sunny day. I felt blessed all day to have, not only to the luxury of time but the space and the park to sketch in; the weather helped a lot.
